A New Partnership, A Shared Purpose

We wanted to share something that has our whole team feeling hopeful and grateful, because we know you will feel it too.

Grandma's House of Hope has been named a recipient of the Samueli Foundation's Breakaway Fund, an investment in our mission.  This is more than a grant. It is a new partnership built on shared values, and we could not be more honored.

The Samueli Foundation has a long history of investing in Orange County and in the belief that every person deserves a fair chance to thrive.  That is exactly what drives us.  We do not just believe in housing people.  We believe in restoring them and giving them the tools to build a life they are proud of.   When a foundation with that kind of vision stands with us, it confirms something we already knew: this work matters.

To the Samueli Foundation, thank you.  Thank you for seeing the people we serve as neighbors worth investing in, and for trusting our staff, many of whom have lived through the very challenges our participants face, to lead this work with heart.  This grant will strengthen our emergency and transitional housing programs and the trauma-sensitive care that helps families move from surviving to thriving.

But this partnership does not exist without you.  Long before the Samueli Foundation recognized our work, you did.  That belief is the foundation everything else is built on.

Orange County is stronger when we take care of our own, and today, we are one step closer to doing exactly that.

Thank you for being part of this family!
