More Good News to Share with You!

It's been a truly great week for Grandma's House of Hope, and we wanted to sit with you for a moment and share why.

Just days after learning we'd been awarded a generous grant from the Samueli Foundation, we received more wonderful news: Grandma's House of Hope has been selected to receive a Neighborhood Grant from The Starbucks Foundation — nominated by local Starbucks partners (employees) right here in our own community.

This year, Starbucks received more than 43,000 grant nominations across the U.S. and Canada.  Out of all of them, we are humbled beyond words to be one of over 2,700 organizations chosen to receive funding — and for the second year in a row.

Weeks like this remind us that we never do this work alone.  Every bit of recognition we receive really belongs to all of you — our volunteers, our donors, our partners, our staff, and now, Starbucks and the Samueli Foundation who saw what we do and believed it was worth investing in.  That people would take the time to champion our mission means more than we can say.

This support helps us keep showing up, day after day, for our  neighbors experiencing homelessness throughout Orange County — offering care, connection, and a hand to hold as they find their way back home.  And honestly, we couldn't keep showing up without a community like this one standing behind us.

Thank you for being part of it.  It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful ours includes you.
